about me

I got into information technology in the mid-80s, when I was in my mid-30s. I earned a programming certificate at Solano Community College, and then interviewed for an analyst-programmer job with my employer at the time, PG&E. I did Cobol, JCL, SQL, and a rapid development, client-server/web environment known as BMC Remedy Action Request System. After a few months of retirement, I started at Santa Rosa Junior College, taking psychology and math. I went back to computer studies, taking C++, Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and Web Design.
